Lilian Ng\u2019ang\u2019a Shares Personal Insights on Relationships and Deal-Breakers<\/p>\n
Lilian Ng\u2019ang\u2019a recently opened up about her personal life, shedding light on her upbringing and the challenges she faces in relationships.<\/p>\n
Known for her private nature, Lilian spoke about her privileged background, family values, and the qualities she prioritizes in a partner. She also revealed how her father\u2019s influence shaped her expectations in relationships.<\/p>\n
In a March 9 interview with Dr. Ofweneke, Lilian shared that one of her biggest challenges in relationships is dealing with a partner who drinks excessively.<\/p>\n
She explained that growing up with a father who didn\u2019t drink influenced her views on alcohol consumption.<\/p>\n
“I struggle with men who drink a lot because I don\u2019t know how to be in that setup. I don\u2019t drink myself. I did in my twenties, but I stopped. Alcohol can embarrass people. You start well, but after a few drinks, you become someone else.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
While she has no issue with moderate drinking, excessive alcohol consumption is a major turn-off for her. She believes men should maintain self-control and be aware of their surroundings.<\/p>\n
“It makes you lose respect for that person. Drink, but in moderation. Don\u2019t drink to the extent you get completely intoxicated because alcohol adds no value.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Prefers a Man Who Comes Home Early<\/h3>\n
Lilian also emphasized that she values a partner who prioritizes coming home early, a trait she admired in her father.<\/p>\n
Although she has adjusted her expectations over time, she still prefers a man who doesn\u2019t stay out late unnecessarily.<\/p>\n
“My dad is a man who always came home early. Times have changed, but I have to admit I like a man who does the same. I struggle with someone who comes home late. I\u2019ve adjusted\u2014I could probably tolerate 10 PM\u2014but just be home early. There\u2019s always another day.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
She recalled being in a relationship with someone who was busy but always informed her when he would be late, usually no later than 8 or 9 PM.<\/p>\n
Importance of Neatness<\/h3>\n
Another key quality for Lilian is neatness, as she admitted she cannot tolerate an untidy partner.<\/p>\n
“My dad is super neat. A messy man would bother me. Of course, have your space, I\u2019m not asking you to do things exactly like me, but if you\u2019re the complete opposite, we won\u2019t get along.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
She noted that she can often tell if someone is disorganized just from a casual meeting.<\/p>\n
“If it\u2019s too much, I can\u2019t handle it. I just lose my mind. Even during a simple coffee or lunch, I can pick up on someone\u2019s level of order. If it\u2019s bad, there won\u2019t be a second conversation.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Views on Polygamy<\/h3>\n
Addressing the topic of polygamy, Lilian expressed strong disapproval, arguing that it is often an excuse for poor behavior.<\/p>\n
“People just want an excuse to behave badly. There is nothing like polygamy. The men who engage in it are often the most hopeless.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
She believes that truly successful men are devoted to one woman and take proper care of their families.<\/p>\n
