As part of the campaign, Apple Music has curated five city-specific playlists\u2014each crafted by local artists, DJs, industry tastemakers, and media personalities\u2014to capture the essence of their respective music scenes through both current hits and timeless classics.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"814\">Complementing the playlists are exclusive DJ mixes, created in collaboration with top DJs from each featured city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"816\" data-end=\"1134\">Representing <em data-start=\"829\" data-end=\"852\">The Sounds of Nairobi<\/em>, renowned Kenyan DJ Grauchi curated a dynamic one-hour, 13-minute mix showcasing 54 tracks spanning genge, gengetone, and arbantone. The playlist includes music from artists like Xenia Manasseh, Nikita Kering, and Njerae, whose sounds define Nairobi\u2019s ever-evolving sonic identity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1136\" data-end=\"1179\">Describing the playlist, DJ Grauchi said:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1332\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1182\" data-end=\"1332\">\u201cThis mix features the best artists Nairobi has to offer right now, along with timeless classics from the past that still resonate in the city today.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1334\" data-end=\"1466\">Singer-songwriter Xenia Manasseh echoed the sentiment, describing <em data-start=\"1400\" data-end=\"1423\">The Sounds of Nairobi<\/em> as deeply expressive and unconventional.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1467\" data-end=\"1693\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1693\">\u201cThere\u2019s a rebellious and inherently free nature in Nairobi that shows up in our music.
