Kenyan gospel artist Linet Munyali, popularly known as Size 8, and her husband Samuel Muraya (DJ Moh), have candidly shared the emotional highs and lows of their seven-month separation in 2024.<\/p>\n
The couple, married since 2013, publicly announced their split last year, catching many fans by surprise. In a recent heartfelt interview with Betty Kyallo, they opened up about the pain, personal growth, and eventual reconciliation that brought them back together in 2025.<\/p>\n
Size 8 confessed that she missed DJ Moh deeply during their time apart, though her pride kept her from admitting it. \u201cIt was tough, but I had to let go of certain things\u2014because I\u2019m not perfect either,\u201d she said. \u201cI acted like I didn\u2019t care, but my heart still ached for him.\u201d<\/p>\n
Beyond missing her husband, she also longed for the father figure he was to their children. \u201cMoh is an amazing dad. And when a marriage breaks down, it\u2019s the kids who suffer most,\u201d she said, emphasizing the importance of counselling for children in such situations.<\/p>\n
Their daughter, Wambo, was hit particularly hard by the separation. Size 8 recalled a painful moment when Wambo\u2019s class teacher called to say the young girl had cried at school because \u201cher father lives in another house.\u201d<\/p>\n
That moment served as a wake-up call. \u201cI realised I\u2019d been a bit selfish,\u201d Size 8 admitted. \u201cI hadn\u2019t fully thought about how it was affecting her.\u201d<\/p>\n
DJ Moh also struggled with the distance, especially from his children. He took them on a trip without Size 8 but admitted his real goal was to reconnect with her. \u201cI\u2019d visit the kids and tell her I missed her,\u201d he said with a smile. \u201cI started flirting with her all over again, like we were dating.\u201d<\/p>\n
Eventually, the couple sat down and confronted their issues through open, honest communication. \u201cYou\u2019ve got to be sharp as a man,\u201d Moh joked, reflecting on the effort it took to win her back.<\/p>\n
