\u201cIt is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dad, Ng\u0169g\u0129 wa Thiong’o,\u201d his daughter Wanjiku wa Ng\u0169g\u0129<\/strong> shared in a heartfelt Facebook post. \u201cHe lived a full life, fought a good fight.\u201d Honoring his final wish, she added in Gikuyu, \u201cR\u00eea ratha na r\u00eea th\u016da.
