In a moving post, Omondi revealed that he lingered at the church long after the service ended, choosing a moment of solitude and prayer.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI stayed behind to speak with God. I brought my supplications before HIM,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI mentioned Rex, I remembered Eric Shiani, Kennedy Onyango, Albert Ojwang, Boniface Kariuki, and the hundreds that we have lost.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
His words come as Kenya grapples with a wave of youth-led protests triggered by economic frustrations, governance concerns, and controversial tax policies. He vowed that the sacrifices made during these turbulent times would not be forgotten.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThere will be a new Kenya. Every blood shed, every life lost WILL NOT BE IN VAIN. Pain may endure for a night but joy will come in the morning.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
In a rousing message to Kenya\u2019s youth\u2014especially Gen Z, who have been at the forefront of the protests\u2014Omondi called for strength and unity.<\/p>\n
