The maintenance exercise, set to run for several hours in each affected area, is part of ongoing efforts to upgrade the power infrastructure and enhance supply reliability.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"459\" data-end=\"630\">The scheduled power interruptions will affect key regions including parts of Uasin Gishu, Kisumu, Siaya, Migori, Nyeri, Tharaka Nithi, Kitui, Kiambu, and Mombasa counties.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"632\" data-end=\"635\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"664\"><strong data-start=\"641\" data-end=\"662\">NORTH RIFT REGION<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"665\" data-end=\"689\"><strong data-start=\"665\" data-end=\"687\">Uasin Gishu County<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"947\">\n<li data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"876\">\n<p data-start=\"692\" data-end=\"876\"><strong data-start=\"692\" data-end=\"718\">Burnt Forest, Kitingia<\/strong> and surrounding areas including Cherus, Ndungulu, Kaptega, Kapsundei, Sengalo, Chereber, Kapchorwa, Ndanai, Ngarua, Kondoo, Kapkeno, Languse, and Cheboror.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"877\" data-end=\"947\">\n<p data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"947\"><strong data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"892\">Belekenya<\/strong> and nearby customers.<br data-start=\"914\" data-end=\"917\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NAIROBI, Kenya \u2013 July 15, 2025:Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced planned electricity outages scheduled for Thursday, 17th July 2025, in several counties across the country.
