The allegations surfaced on blogger Edgar Obare\u2019s<\/strong> Instagram Stories, where anonymous users frequently submit unverified gossip. One woman alleged that during Matubia\u2019s time on the TV series Zora<\/em>, she had an affair with her husband\u2014claims that the actress has now rubbished.<\/p>\n

According to the accuser, her ex-husband\u2014allegedly an NIS officer\u2014bought Matubia a car and a house. \u201cMatubia broke my marriage while acting on Zora<\/em>. My former hubby got her her previous car and a house. One day I\u2019ll send receipts,\u201d she claimed, hinting at fear of exposing more details.<\/p>\n

Jackie Matubia Responds<\/h3>\n

Matubia dismissed the accusations with humor, saying she was baffled by suggestions that she owns a house.<\/p>\n

\u201cA friend of mine sent me that story and I was like\u2014maybe I don\u2019t even know I was bought a car and a house,\u201d she joked. \u201cCan I really hustle this hard if I already had those things? My Lord!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The actress urged Kenyans to stop spreading lies, adding that some men mislead their wives with stories about women they\u2019ve never been involved with.<\/p>\n
