Back in 2018, Ethic Entertainment<\/strong> burst onto the scene with the viral anthem Lamba Lolo<\/em>. The group\u2014Rekless, Swat, Zilla, and Seska<\/strong>\u2014turned raw street slang into a movement. Their gritty lyrics and DIY-style videos sparked national debate, but also cemented Gengetone as the freshest, most disruptive genre Kenya had seen in years.<\/p>\n

Not long after, Ochungulo Family<\/strong>\u2014made up of NellytheGoon, Benzema, and Dmore<\/strong>\u2014picked up the torch. With hits like Kriss Kross<\/em> and Na Iwake<\/em>, they became the face of Nairobi\u2019s unfiltered youth energy, their cheeky wordplay and fearless delivery giving the streets a soundtrack.<\/p>\n

    Now, with their latest joint project, Ethic<\/strong> and Ochungulo<\/strong> are betting on nostalgia mixed with innovation. Their collaboration blends the raw essence of Gengetone with fresher, trend-aware sounds to appeal to today\u2019s Gen Z audience.<\/p>\n
