Kenya Power has said that multiple parts of the country will experience planned power interruptions on Thursday, October 23.<\/p>\n

These maintenance outages are intended to allow the utility to improve reliability and upgrade parts of the electricity network.<\/p>\n

Below are some of the counties and neighborhoods expected to experience outages. Times are mostly from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.<\/strong>, unless otherwise noted.<\/p>\n

Coast Region (Mombasa & Kilifi Counties)<\/strong><\/td>\nMombasa suburbs \/ villages like Vikwatani, Mtopanga, Chembani; Kilifi areas including Watamu Village, Jacaranda; Blue Bay etc.<\/td>\nMost outages from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., though some Kilifi locations have slight variation<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Power interruptions are part of scheduled maintenance. Kenya Power says the work is needed to improve service reliability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
