Political analyst Cassypool<\/strong> has doubled down on his unwavering support for Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan<\/strong>, even as the country grapples with widespread unrest and mounting criticism following the disputed October 29, 2025, elections<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Speaking to local YouTubers on Wednesday, November 5<\/strong>, Cassypool dismissed claims that his loyalty to President Samia stems from ethnic or regional ties, saying his stance is driven purely by admiration for her leadership and commitment to peace.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cI have supported Mama Samia Suluhu one hundred per cent. I am not Tanzanian and I do not have a vote in Tanzania, but I have always been among the first to advise my Tanzanian brothers and sisters not to imitate the bad habits of Kenyans,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

\u201cTanzania Is a Land of Peace\u201d<\/h3>\n

Cassypool urged Tanzanians to remain calm and uphold their country\u2019s long-standing reputation for stability, contrasting it with Kenya\u2019s often turbulent political culture.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cFocus on your country because it is a land of peace. Those habits of endless protests that happen in Kenya bring no honour to anyone. Your country is peaceful, and blood has never been shed there. I preach peace because I love peace,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The commentator argued that Tanzania should avoid the cycle of street protests and political hostility that, in his view, have undermined unity in neighboring countries.<\/p>\n

\n

Defending President Samia\u2019s 98% Win<\/h3>\n

Addressing criticism surrounding President Samia\u2019s landslide 98% re-election victory<\/strong>, Cassypool insisted that the outcome reflected genuine public support<\/strong>, not electoral malpractice.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cIf you did not know, the official opposition in Tanzania today has its own Vice President in Zanzibar. Those parties you hear making noise on social media should be ignored,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Cassypool added that even President Samia\u2019s rivals recognized her popularity.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cI support what Mama Samia said \u2014 she had seventeen opponents, and even they agreed to vote for her. I see no problem with that 98 per cent result because the people genuinely love her. So you should not come here with your social media narratives trying to spoil Tanzanians.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

\u201cI Respect Her as a Mother and Leader\u201d<\/h3>\n

Cassypool further explained that his admiration for President Samia goes beyond politics \u2014 describing her as a symbol of strength, motherhood, and capable leadership<\/strong> within East Africa.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have continued to support President Samia Suluhu because she is a mother and a woman leader from our East African region. I respect her, and I respect all women and mothers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
