Meru-born content creator and cross-dresser Supuu O Mioro<\/strong> has spoken out against growing online criticism and claims that he is imitating popular influencer Kelvin Kinuthia<\/strong>, saying he is tired of being unfairly judged for his appearance and creative style.<\/p>\n

In a candid video posted on his TikTok page<\/strong> on Thursday, November 6, 2025, Supuu said he had stayed silent for long but decided to address the issue after enduring what he described as persistent negativity<\/strong> following his latest viral advert.<\/p>\n

The video, which showed him in full makeup, a body-hugging dress, and a wig while promoting a local cosmetics brand, sparked mixed reactions online.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cStop Judging Me for Doing My Job\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Addressing his followers, Supuu said many people seemed \u201cbothered\u201d by how he presents himself online and were constantly dragging his name into unnecessary gossip and comparisons.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cHello everyone, I know many of you tell me not to speak negatively, but this time I have to. I can\u2019t just sit and allow people to keep talking badly about me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He revealed that his close friend, musician Karimi wa Bruno<\/strong>, had advised him not to respond to critics\u2014but he felt compelled to speak up this time because the comments had gone too far.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cMy friend Karimi wa Bruno has always told me to ignore negativity, but this time I had to respond,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Supuu clarified that the controversial video was a paid advertisement<\/strong>, not just casual content. He emphasized that as a professional content creator, he often has to take on various characters and looks depending on the assignment.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cPeople are talking too much about that advert. It was a paid job, not just a random video. Stop judging me for doing my work,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI\u2019m Not Trying to Be Kinuthia\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Supuu firmly rejected claims that he is trying to look or act like Kelvin Kinuthia<\/strong>, describing the comparisons as ignorant and disrespectful.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome of you are saying I\u2019ve now completely transformed to look like a woman like Kinuthia. Let me tell you clearly\u2014I am myself. I\u2019m not anyone\u2019s copy,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He added that he has always proudly identified as Supuu O Mioro<\/strong>, a name that originated during his high school years at Gikurune Boys High School<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe name \u2018Supuu O Mioro\u2019 means beauty. I didn\u2019t give myself that name\u2014it was given to me in high school, and I embraced it because it suits me. I\u2019m beautiful, even more beautiful than many of your women and wives,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll Wear What I Want\u2014Until Christ Returns\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Responding to critics who often ridicule his wardrobe choices, Supuu made it clear that he has no apologies<\/strong> to make for how he dresses.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople keep saying I wear wigs and dresses. Yes, I do\u2014and I\u2019ll keep wearing them until Christ returns. I\u2019ll even wear bras and crop tops if I want to. You won\u2019t bring me down,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He went on to warn online bullies and haters against leaving hateful comments on his page, saying he would not hesitate to respond.<\/p>\n
