Kenyan Prince<\/span><\/span> recently set social media abuzz after appearing to draw the attention of the Kenya Revenue Authority<\/span><\/span> (KRA) following videos in which he showcased bundles of cash online.<\/p>\n

The trader, whose real name is Raymond Omosa, had posted clips flaunting large sums of money. KRA\u2019s official social media page later reposted one of the videos, accompanying it with a light-hearted caption in street slang, humorously asking him to share tips on how to make similar earnings.<\/p>\n

The playful remark quickly fuelled speculation, with some users suggesting the trader could be under scrutiny from the tax authority, while others interpreted the repost as a subtle warning. The conversation gained momentum partly because Prince has previously faced criticism from sceptics who question the source of his wealth.<\/p>\n

It later emerged that the cash seen in the viral video was being used to finalise payment for a new luxury vehicle, adding another high-end car to his already lavish collection.<\/p>\n

Kenyan Prince responds to KRA post<\/h3>\n

Prince addressed the speculation through his TikTok account, posting a video in which he dismissed claims of wrongdoing while unveiling the newly acquired vehicle.<\/p>\n

According to him, KRA\u2019s post was purely congratulatory and not an indication of any investigation.<\/p>\n

\u201cGuys, I saw that KRA is posting me and my winnings. It was a congratulatory message. People have started saying that I am in hot soup. You cannot understand. If I buy a car, the tax has already been paid for. A registered car in Kenya has already been cleared,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He maintained that there was nothing irregular about the transaction, emphasising that all necessary taxes are settled before a vehicle is officially registered in the country.<\/p>\n

Questions about his relationship status<\/h3>\n

Beyond the exchange with KRA, Prince has also been clarifying details about his personal life.<\/p>\n

In an earlier interview with comedian Dr Ofweneke<\/span><\/span>, he stated that he and his partner, Stephanie Ngunjiri, were legally married \u201cthe government way.\u201d Although they had not held a traditional white wedding ceremony, he said they planned to do so in the future when the time felt right.<\/p>\n

During that interview, he also admitted he was still learning about his partner and was uncertain whether her affection was for him personally or for his financial status.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are enjoying each other\u201d<\/h3>\n

However, in a later interview with Mpasho<\/span><\/span>, Prince appeared to clarify his earlier remarks, explaining that he and Stephanie were currently cohabiting rather than formally married.<\/p>\n

When asked about marriage plans, he suggested that the decision ultimately rests on divine timing.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s God\u2019s plan. I may decide, and maybe God has not\u2026 When the right time comes, and God says she is the one, then why not. We are enjoying each other; it is a mutual benefit,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Prince also shared his perspective on modern relationships, arguing that couples who live together without legal marriage are in what he described as a transactional arrangement.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have not married someone officially; that is called come-we-stay. They are probably getting something from you that you are getting from them.
