Speaking during a local podcast on March 31, 2026, she revealed that many fans struggle to separate her true personality from the character she portrayed on screen. According to her, the strong association has influenced how she is addressed and understood in everyday interactions.<\/p>\n

Blurring the line between character and reality<\/strong>
Jacky Vike explained that many people still identify her primarily as Awinja, leading to confusion between acting and real life. As a result, she often feels pressure to live up to the traits associated with the character.<\/p>\n

Mentorship under Papa Shirandula<\/strong>
The actress also reflected on her time working with the late Papa Shirandula<\/span><\/span>, crediting him as a key figure in her growth. She described him as both a mentor and a father figure who played a crucial role in shaping her career.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was my mentor. It was such an amazing experience, I learnt so much from him,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to Vike, their relationship extended beyond the workplace, evolving into a close-knit bond that felt like family. His passing, she noted, deeply affected the entire cast.<\/p>\n
