Affected locations include Stabex Petrol Station, sections of Gachie Market, Redhill Baraka School, Muchugia Estate, Bishops Estate, Nyari West, and areas along Ngecha Road.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"ddqezc\" data-start=\"886\" data-end=\"909\">North Rift Region<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"910\" data-end=\"1057\">In <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Elgeyo Marakwet County<\/span><\/span>, power maintenance will affect the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Katalel Centre<\/span><\/span> area from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1059\" data-end=\"1228\">Locations expected to be impacted include Kipsoen Polytechnic, Salaba Primary School, Kiplus Centre, Boundary Centre, Silvan Secondary School, and surrounding customers.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"hr7qxg\" data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1248\">Coast Region<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1249\" data-end=\"1408\">In <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Mombasa<\/span><\/span> County, parts of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Likoni<\/span><\/span> will experience power interruptions from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1730\">Affected areas include Diani Beach Hospital, Mrima Primary School, Tenant Purchase, Samaki Poa, Ngumungumu, Kibaki Estate, Mt. Sinai, Ujamaa, Pungu, Vyemani, Shikaadabu, Taifa Gas, Inspiration, Vijiweni, Consolata, Corner Mpya, Bububu, Soweto, Likoni Secondary School, Kiwerera, Mbuta, Third World, and nearby customers.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"jfe4qd\" data-start=\"1732\" data-end=\"1759\">Advisory to Residents<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1760\" data-end=\"1900\">Kenya Power has advised affected customers to plan accordingly and treat all electrical installations as live during the maintenance period.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1902\" data-end=\"2073\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The utility company noted that the interruptions are necessary to facilitate system improvements and enhance the reliability of electricity supply in the affected regions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kenya Power has announced a scheduled electricity maintenance exercise set to affect several areas across the country on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
