Kenya region, with power interruptions expected throughout the day as technicians carry out routine maintenance and system upgrades.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1uli3y\" data-start=\"344\" data-end=\"364\">Nairobi Region<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"365\" data-end=\"475\">In <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Kitsuru<\/span><\/span>, electricity supply will be interrupted from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"477\" data-end=\"562\">The outage will affect the entire stretch of Kitsuru Road and all adjacent customers.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"k0h8sx\" data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"586\">Mt. Kenya Region<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"587\" data-end=\"802\">In parts of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Tharaka Nithi County<\/span><\/span>, specifically around <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Magundu<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Ndumbini<\/span><\/span> markets, power will be unavailable from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"962\">Areas set to be affected include Ndumbini Primary School, Kaaganjo Primary School, Muragara Secondary School, Igangara Secondary School, and nearby customers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"1167\">In a separate maintenance schedule within the same region, areas around <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Tungu Factory<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Ntutuni Catholic Church<\/span><\/span> will experience outages from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"jfe4qd\" data-start=\"1169\" data-end=\"1196\">Advisory to Residents<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1197\" data-end=\"1337\">Kenya Power has advised affected customers to plan accordingly and treat all electrical installations as live during the maintenance period.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1339\" data-end=\"1505\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The utility company noted that the scheduled interruptions are necessary to improve service reliability and ensure efficient power distribution in the affected areas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kenya Power has announced a scheduled electricity maintenance exercise set to affect several areas across the country on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
