For me, I am looking at him first,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"850\" data-end=\"974\">Miss P added that what matters most to her is a person\u2019s emotional state and whether they have healed from past experiences.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"978\" data-end=\"1155\">\u201cWhat is his state of mind as far as romance is concerned? What has he healed from, what has he experienced? What is he looking for? I\u2019m not looking for history,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1159\" data-end=\"1342\">The singer noted that she believes many relationships struggle because people become too focused on investigating each other\u2019s past instead of concentrating on the present and future.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1346\" data-end=\"1566\">\u201cI am that kind of person; when I get to something new, I erase the past. One of the reasons why some relationships do not last is someone wanting to find out about the partner\u2019s past; the past is in the past,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1570\" data-end=\"1722\">Miss P further explained that people grow and evolve over time, making it unfair to permanently judge someone based on previous mistakes or experiences.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1726\" data-end=\"1960\">\u201cWe cannot be the same person; we have grown. Of course, the past builds up the person we are today, and you cannot judge someone based on what they did in the past.
