Gachagua claimed these remarks only deepened public suspicion regarding state-sponsored violence.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-path-to-node=\"5\">\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,0\">&#8220;I am vindicated. Kenyans are more convinced than ever before that my position has all along been true and factual; we have the most clueless Minister in charge of security since independence.&#8221; \u2014 Rigathi Gachagua<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"7\">Allegations of a &#8220;Scripted&#8221; Security Strategy<\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">The former Deputy President challenged Murkomen to explain why the Ministry of Interior had failed to pre-emptively stop these criminal elements despite having prior intelligence.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">Gachagua alleged that the impending security disruptions are part of a scripted state strategy designed to frame political dissidents:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"10\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\">Controlled Destruction: He claimed that police have clear instructions to stand aside and allow state-linked goons to wreck havoc on property before intervening.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\">Targeted Arrests: Following the destruction, the state allegedly plans to arrest opposition figures on fabricated charges of inciting violence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,2,0\">Stage-Managed Attacks: Gachagua warned of upcoming &#8220;staged&#8221; attacks on government-aligned leaders meant to generate public sympathy and deflect blame onto the opposition.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"12\">Breach of Police Independence<\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">Beyond the immediate security threats, Gachagua expressed deep concern over the breakdown of the National Police Service&#8217;s constitutional independence.
