Content creator Purity Vishenwa, popularly known as Pritty Vishy, has explained why Andrew Kibe\u2019s recent harsh comments about Stevo Simple Boy hit so close to home. According to Vishy, the online drama brought back painful memories of the severe body-shaming she has faced for years.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the Iko Nini<\/i> podcast on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Vishy expressed deep sympathy for Stevo, her ex-boyfriend, noting that she knows exactly what it feels like to be the target of internet trolls.<\/p>\n \u201cI really felt bad because I have been there, and I am still body-shamed and bullied, but at least this year is not so much like they used to be,\u201d she shared. \u201cMy body-shaming was mostly about my weight and teeth the way they were.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Vishy didn’t just go after Kibe; she also called out Dr Ofweneke for how he handled the interview on his show. She argued that Ofweneke should have shut Kibe down immediately instead of laughing along and fueling the fire.<\/p>\n She also pointed out that the production crew had a chance to fix things behind the scenes before the video dropped.<\/p>\n \u201cThe worst part was the interviewer, Dr Ofweneke, laughing; it was like he was hyping him, but if he could have shut him down, it could not have escalated,\u201d Vishy said. \u201cAfterwards matters. When they were editing, they knew that part was there; ni yeye alikuwa aseme itolewe ama ibaki (it was up to him to decide whether it should be removed or left in).\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n This comes after Stevo Simple Boy fired back at Kibe for dragging his child into the mix. The rapper made it clear that if Kibe has an issue, he should face him as an adult and leave innocent children out of it.<\/p>\n Stevo posted a firm message online defending his family:<\/p>\n \u201cAndrew Kibe, kama una tatizo na mimi, zungumza kuhusu mimi. Lakini usimhusishe mtoto wangu ambaye hana kosa lolote,\u201d Stevo wrote. (\u201cAndrew Kibe, if you have a problem with me, talk about me.
