Customers in the affected areas have been advised to plan ahead as power will be unavailable between <strong data-start=\"521\" data-end=\"548\">9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"7l8oau\" data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"575\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"554\" data-end=\"575\">West Pokot County<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"663\">In the North Rift region, the outage will affect parts of <strong data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"662\">Kodera, Losam and Alale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"665\" data-end=\"821\">Areas scheduled to experience the power interruption include <strong data-start=\"726\" data-end=\"793\">Kodera, Ngotut, Kasei, Losam, Natimeri, Kiwawa, Chelopoy, Alale<\/strong> and neighbouring customers.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"lm2fit\" data-start=\"823\" data-end=\"843\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"843\">Nyeri County<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"949\">In the Mt. Kenya region, electricity will be interrupted in parts of <strong data-start=\"914\" data-end=\"948\">Kihora, Gachatha and Kariguini<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"951\" data-end=\"1167\">The outage will affect <strong data-start=\"974\" data-end=\"1143\">Safaricom and Airtel booster stations, Kihora Primary School, Kihora Village, Gachatha Market, Gachatha Coffee Factory, Kwa Joseph, Kariguini Market, Thandii Village<\/strong> and adjacent customers.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"8zvqv9\" data-start=\"1169\" data-end=\"1190\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1190\">Kiambu County<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1336\">In the North Eastern region, customers in parts of <strong data-start=\"1243\" data-end=\"1272\">Gitaru, Nyathuna and Cura<\/strong> will also be without electricity during the maintenance period.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1338\" data-end=\"1483\">The affected areas include <strong data-start=\"1365\" data-end=\"1448\">Gitaru, Kanjeru, Cura, Muthure, Ruku, Nyathuna, Gikuni, Tingati A and Tingati B<\/strong>, as well as surrounding customers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1485\" data-end=\"1811\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Kenya Power has advised residents and businesses in the affected areas to make the necessary arrangements ahead of the planned maintenance and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
