President Uhuru Kenyatta’s list of cabinet nominees has elicited mixed reactions. Politicians even from Uhuru’s own Jubilee party feel their people were sidelined in the cabinet nominations.<\/p>\n

Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip has expressed his dissatisfaction with the final list of cabinet secretaries. The youthful lawmaker feels Uhuru should have nominated at least one CS from Lamu county.<\/p>\n

Loitiptip says Lamu people played a vital role in ensuring Uhuru won the recently concluded presidential election. Coast was perceived to be Nasa stronghold but Loitiptip was elected on a Jubilee ticket against all odds.<\/p>\n

Trounced veteran politician<\/h5>\n

The 28 year old senator led Jubilee campaigns in Lamu county. He trounced long serving and elderly politician Abu Chiaba in his first attempt to vie for a political seat.<\/p>\n

“Namwomba rais Uhuru Kenyatta awakumbuke pia county ya Lamu ambayo ilikua mstari wa mbele kanda ya Pwani kuwapa serikali kuu ushindi,” said Senator Anwar Loitiptip.<\/p>\n
