But it wasn&#8217;t easy when starting out.<\/p>\n<p>The popular singer, who is married to photographer\u00a0Victor Peace, recently opened up on her journey as as a staunch christian saying it was hard starting out but eventually managed to leave the earthly things to follow Christ.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;When often asked \u2018when did you get saved?\u2019 I can\u2019t point out a particular date but it was somewhere in 2006, I was probably in form 2 and I wanted to know Christ for myself but I didn\u2019t know what exactly it meant \u2026years down after doing things my way and still being \u2018Christian\u2019 I faced a couple of down falls some so salty that the scars were\/are printed deep. It reached a point I felt so lost I yearned for a way out and god was it (always is) around 2014 I rededicated my life and this time with a deeper yearning,&#8221;<\/em> she said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_45853\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-45853\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-45853 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/03\/Cece-Sagini-1qeqaddw.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/03\/Cece-Sagini-1qeqaddw.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/03\/Cece-Sagini-1qeqaddw-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-45853\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sagini<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Challenging to be a christian<\/h3>\n<p>She also said that even up to now, she still faces a few challenges but she&#8217;s stronger and her faith can not easily be shaken like before.<\/p>\n<p>She asked people not see Christianity as a shady thing and encouraged other Christians to be proud and bold.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Daily I live for Christ and try to shift from being of the world but it\u2019s a challenge, especially if being of the world is what has and still is being trained and pressed everyday through our surroundings<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;This is an encouragement to someone, being Christian is not shady, it\u2019s not something to be ashamed of or it\u2019s not something to dumb down around friends.
