<\/p>\nWonders shall never end! Rose Muhando was arrested on Sunday 4th for alleged fraud that saw her walk away with Ksh 37,000.<\/p>\n
The singer cum Reverend is said to have received money from the chairman of AICT Singida choir as payment for an appearance during the launch of the AICT choirs album that was held in November 13th 2016.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Rose Muhando however never showed up and did not communicate with the church’s chairman to explain herself.<\/p>\n
The chairman, Mashala Japhet goes on to add that they had sent her extra money Ksh 6,900 as her transport money only to be spotted in Kahama Northwestern Tanzania where she carrying on with her ministry.<\/p>\n
However, the police picked her from her Ikungi home in Singida where she was taken to the police station to record a statement. From what she says, this was a case of mistaken identity as she distanced herself from the accusations.<\/p>\n
Speaking during a recent interview with Edaily the singer had this to say,<\/p>\n
Yes the police arrested me on Sunday, 4th June, but I wasn’t supposed to be the target. They were looking for a different lady whose name is Rose, which is similar to mine. The other Rose is the one who obtained money from the said Church in the pretense that she was me.
