Akothee is a mother of five children, she has however lost three children in unfortunate incidents. The singer lost her first child years back when she was still married to her first husband.<\/p>\n

She was already a mother of one when she lost her second child. Akothee reveals she gave birth to her son in the streets of Awendo town but the kid died because she didn’t have money to take him to the hospital early enough.<\/p>\n

“SWAAAAG 2007 Baby Amedonjo mombasa come slow , I had only 3 children ?? but I had dropped 4 in my 10 year of marriage , one passed on at 8 months, I dint have money to take him to the hospital early enough, or may be it was Gods time , he is actually the one I delivered on the streets and the watchmen of Awendo were my midwives, he was my second born, a boy in that matter, that one means alot to the Luo community,” wrote Akothee.<\/p>\n

Lost twins<\/h5>\n

Akothee once again lost two children sometimes in 2016. The songbird\u00a0collapsing at a train station in Geneva, Switzerland in late August 2016 leading to the lose of her unborn twins.<\/p>\n
