My DM has been filled with some of these peeps of late.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Please don\u2019t come in my DM<\/em><br \/>\n<em>1. \u2018advising me about my hair\u2019, \u2018it\u2019s not acceptable and\u00a0i\u00a0should shave\u2019<\/em><br \/>\n<em>2. Asking me to visit pastors and prophets for healing and altogether absconding my treatment and therapies<\/em><br \/>\n<em>3. Asking me to carry out rituals and how\u00a0ishould visit the elders\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>4. I\u2019m not cursed.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Just accept me. Accept the fact that I\u2019ve broken barriers by speaking about menstruation. A taboo topic. Accept that I\u2019m in the fight to make sure our women get the best reproductive healthcare.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>My hair ain\u2019t got nothing to do with this. I think my brain, my heart, my uterus and my love for God does. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;This is a milestone for all women that we shall be silent no more. Reproductive health issues are affecting all of us rich and poor. Educated and alternatively educated. Married and single. We as women are fighting with biological functions.
