About two months ago, Kenyan songbird Habida set tongues wagging when she took to social media and\u00a0shared a bunch of half-naked photos.<\/p>\n

The singer proudly flaunted her body despite all the flaws it had – loose skin and\u00a0stretch marks. She posed in a series of photo wearing a\u00a0bikini with body art.<\/p>\n

Postpartum depression<\/h5>\n

In an interview with Citizen TV, Habida stated that she shared the photos in a bid to\u00a0appreciate postpartum bodies. The singer revealed that she went\u00a0through postpartum depression after the birth of her second child.<\/p>\n

“After my second child I went through postpartum depression. I\u2019m one of those people who are never really aware when they are going through stress but this time I felt it and I was like wow, postpartum is a real thing and I was like I have to tell somebody because I have a voice,” said Habida.<\/p>\n

Adding that;<\/p>\n

“My issue was I had a Cesarean and my body had skin hanging everywhere and stretch marks and I\u2019m like \u2018I\u2019ve always been a size 8 what is this\u2019 and my husband would be like \u2018You are beautiful\u2019 but I\u2019m like \u2018You are lying\u2019.”<\/p>\n
