Rich Mavoko is said to have parted ways with Diamond’s Wasafi Records just after two years. The Bongo singer was previously signed to\u00a0Kenyan label Kaka Empire before he moved to WCB.<\/p>\n
Speculations about Mavoko’s exit started when\u00a0hawk-eyed netizens noticed that the singer had edited his Instagram account to read ‘Musician from East Africa,’ from what it once read ‘baddest Musician from East Africa, Tanzania signed under WCB.’<\/p>\n
Wasafi’s top honcho Babu Tale has since addressed claims that Rich Mavoko had dumped WCB. Speaking during an interview with Wasafi TV, Tale said that it was not yet time to talk about Mavoko’s alleged exit.<\/p>\n
He said that both Wasafi and Mavoko will talk about the issue at later date. Or perhaps the whole issue is just another publicity stunt?<\/p>\n
