Likuyani MP Enock Kibunguchy survived an assassination attempt on his life but unfortunately his driver\u00a0Douglas Wakacha was not so lucky.<\/p>\n

Unknown gunmen ambushed the MP’s driver and shot him on the head before\u00a0storming into\u00a0Soy Highway Motel, Kakamega County in search of the MP.<\/p>\n

The Sunday August 12th attack could have had more casualties were it not for the motel’s manager Edwin Lussa, who switched off lights as the gunmen stormed in the model asking for the MP.<\/p>\n

Bobi Wine survives assassination attempt<\/h5>\n

Ugandan dancehall artist-cum-MP Bobi Wine survived an assassination attempt in Arua town, Uganda on Monday August 13th.<\/p>\n

Bobi Wine, who is president Museveni’s fiercest critic, says his driver was shot dead by Ugandan police\u00a0who were wanted to kill him instead.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Kyadondo East MP says the hotel he was in was\u00a0cordoned off by police after the incident.<\/p>\n

“Police has shot my driver dead thinking they\u2019ve shot at me. My hotel is now cordoned off by police and SFC,” Bobi Wine tweeted.<\/p>\n
