Kenyans believe\u00a0Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria was very much drunk during his interview yesterday on Citizen TV 9 oclock news.<\/p>\n

Thousands of Kenyans took to social media to claim the politician was visibly drunk and some even wanted Citizen TV to cut short the interview.<\/p>\n

VAT\u00a016<\/h2>\n

The legislator was among the panelists hosted by\u00a0senior\u00a0Citizen\u00a0TV\u00a0anchor\u00a0Hussein Mohammed\u00a0for a discussion on several matters including the controversial fuel rise. Kuria, ended up annoying Kenyans further by stating that he supports the\u00a016% VAT on fuel.<\/p>\n

“I am supporting 16% VAT on fuel. I am not ashamed of it. I am not pretentious. Even if the VAT is implemented on fuel, the basic consumption products are zero-rated. Anyone who pays tax on transportation simply because of fuel is entitled to claim it back when making their annual or monthly tax returns,” said Kuria.<\/em><\/p>\n

Kenyans attacked him saying that he was visibly drunk and his argument shouldn’t be considered. Though Citizen TV has not released a statement on the issue, many have insisted that he shouldn’t have been called for the interview.<\/p>\n

What impressed me more from that interview on citizen TV is the fact that moses kuria did not even once excuse himself to go to the washrooms like most drunkards always do. Mwanaume ni urethra <\/p>\n
