The boy knew\u00a0Roseline very well and that explained why he was easily persuaded to follow her into the thicket.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/09\/Kakamega.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-83701 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/09\/Kakamega.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"686\" height=\"515\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/09\/Kakamega.png 900w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/09\/Kakamega-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/09\/Kakamega-768x576.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 686px) 100vw, 686px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kakamega Principal Magistrate Hazel Wandere said that the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt that\u00a0Roseline was guilty of the offense before she was handed the life imprisonment.\u00a0She was given 14 days to appeal.<\/p>\n<h5>Similar cases<\/h5>\n<p>There has been a rise in cases of woman defiling boys, in May this year 24-year-old Judith Wandera from Kisumu was\u00a0sentenced to 15 years in jail for having sex with a 16-year-old boy.<\/p>\n<p>And in July 2018, 23-year-old\u00a0Dorcas Chepng\u2019etich from Kericho was arrested for repeatedly\u00a0sleeping with\u00a0a 15-year-old boy.
