He is of tender age and will deeply suffer if I remain in custody until the conclusion of the murder trial which might take long,&#8221; she said.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Bail<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-85408\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/10\/Jacque-Maribe-in-court-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"860\" height=\"645\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/10\/Jacque-Maribe-in-court-1.jpg 860w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/10\/Jacque-Maribe-in-court-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/10\/Jacque-Maribe-in-court-1-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 860px) 100vw, 860px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>She told court that she would not jump bail because she&#8217;s famous and everyone knows her. She asked the court to let her see her son who is only four and might be suffering.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThere are no compelling reasons whatsoever that can deny me bond. I\u2019m a well-known TV journalist. Most Kenyans are conversant with my job and can easily spot me anywhere; therefore, making it impossible to jump bail,\u201d said Maribe.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I was not involved in the murder, was not at the scene of the murder, and had no knowledge of (Monica) or any person known to her.
