Bongo heartthrob Diamond Platnumz has been wearing a brave face in public but behind the scene he has been struggling to contain his tears.<\/p>\n

The ‘Jibebe’ hit maker was terrified by his mother’s sickness, apparently Sanura Sandra had been sick for a while in the beginning of the year even though the public didn’t get wind of it.<\/p>\n

Diamond opened up about his mother’s sickness during an interview with a Tanzanian radio station where he narrated how he was deeply affected.<\/p>\n

The father of three says he\u00a0hit rock bottom and was confused when his mother got seriously sick. He reveals that he used to cry everyday for the time his mom was unwell.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve stayed with my mother for long and never seen my mum in pain. When the year started, I used to cry everyday, I was really confused. I learnt that in life there is health and sickness. Right now, my mum is okay. I\u2019ve learnt that today, you might be on stage performing and tomorrow you are sick,” said Diamond.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
