Actress Neomi Ng\u2019ang\u2019a has landed a new job as the Executive Director of \u2018Miss Plus World Kenya\u2019.<\/p>\n

The Pageant aims at celebrating the African Woman and creating plus size ambassadors who will help sensitize the society and the country at large about body confidence and acceptance of different body types regardless of size, age or weight.<\/p>\n

Commenting on her new role,\u00a0Neomi said:<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cBeauty has so many forms, and I think the most beautiful thing is being confident and loving yourself. The very first Miss Plus World Kenya beauty pageant will be a launching pad for the world to appreciate the African Woman in all her splendour. The pageant will empower women to develop the confidence and elegance, here at home and beyond. My mandate as the Executive Director is to run Kenya’s first ever Plus Size Beauty pageant.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
