Sometimes in September, Kibra member of parliament Kenneth Okoth wrote to National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi giving notice of introduction of a Bill that seeks to legalize the growth and use of marijuana in Kenya.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0proposed Marijuana Control Bill 2018 is yet to be tabled in parliament. For the Bill to be implemented to law, it first needs the backing of majority house members to pass through the various stages in parliament before the president could\u00a0assent to it.<\/p>\n

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has indicated that he will fully back the\u00a0proposed Marijuana Control Bill 2018 when tabled in parliament.<\/p>\n

Babu revealed he would support the Bill after having a ‘Rastafarian experience’, he took to social media and shared a photo of him wearing\u00a0a Rasta hat with dreadlocks and captioned it;<\/p>\n
