Zari Hassan has only been in office for two months and she could be forced to relinquish her position if the chairperson of the Uganda Tourism Board\u00a0Daudi Migereko has his way.<\/p>\n

Mr Migereko wants Zari Hassan to be replaced by the reigning 2018 Miss Uganda\u00a0Quiin Abenakyo as the\u00a0tourism ambassador for Uganda.<\/p>\n

Quiin Abenakyo finished 3rd in the just concluded\u00a0Miss World 2018 pageant that was held on Saturday December 8th at Chinese island of Hainan.<\/p>\n

She was crowned Miss Africa 2018 for finishing first among all beauty queens from the African continent who participated in the beauty pageant.<\/p>\n

The chairperson of the Uganda Tourism Board\u00a0has expressed optimism that Abenakyo\u2019s win has shed a positive light on Uganda, and that the country could experience a boost in tourism with the beauty queen taking on the role of tourism ambassador for Uganda.<\/p>\n

“Abenakyo has done us proud, she put up an excellent show and as a country, we are bound to benefit immensely as a result of the publicity Uganda has had by her excellent performance,” said\u00a0Daudi Migereko.<\/p>\n
