Diamond and Rayvanny pay dearly for defying Basata\u2026 banned from performing in and out of Tanzania<\/a><\/p>\nBasata had banned ‘Mwana’\u00a0from\u00a0being played on radio, TV, nightclubs, concerts or on any media in Tanzania. The music regulatory body claimed the song defied acceptable moral standards in Tanzania.<\/p>\n
Diamond reacts<\/h5>\n
Diamond says that he will perform outside the country contrary to Basata’s ban which also forbids him from performing outside the borders of Tanzania.<\/p>\n
The Bongo singer further suggested that he would relocate to Kenya where the culture is not as restrictive as Tanzania.<\/p>\n
“Nini kitanifanyikia, sio kunifungia nyimbo, hainipunguzii kitu, mkinifungia ntaenda nje ntaiperform tu. Kama hutoka niperform si natoka naenda country nyingine tu. Nabaki uko naperform nyimbo zangu.
