Though it happened years ago, Adelle still reveals how the death affected her life.\u00a0 She recently shared that she still talks to her everyday and asks her for guidance when going into something new or that might be a little challenging.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I speak to my late mum everyday. I think about her even more than that. I ask her for signs I\u2019m on the right track. I dream about her sometimes\u2026not as often I\u2019d like but it beats nothing,&#8221; she said.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Anxiety<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-91942\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/01\/adelle-onyangos-mum-e1480322535481.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"747\" height=\"782\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/01\/adelle-onyangos-mum-e1480322535481.jpg 747w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/01\/adelle-onyangos-mum-e1480322535481-287x300.jpg 287w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 747px) 100vw, 747px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The death gave Adelle a new look into life and she confessed that she usually gets anxiety just by thinking that one day she&#8217;s going to lose another person she loves.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Nothing can prepare you for the powerlessness that comes with losing someone to the permanence that\u2019s death. The post trauma\u2026I still get mild anxiety thinking one day I\u2019ll lose the people I love and go through this all over again.If someone close to you has lost someone dear to them, please don\u2019t tell them it\u2019ll be OK. It won\u2019t be OK. It will be different.
