The veteran Zimbabwean singer\u00a0died on Wednesday at Avenues Clinic in Harare aged 66. He was said to be battling\u00a0 diabetes for the past one month.<\/p>\n
Tuku\u00a0came to prominence in the 1970s as one of voices of the revolution fighting colonial rule in Zimbabwe. He released 67 albums during his career.<\/p>\n
Tanzanian singer Rayvanny worked with Tuku for a project that had not yet been released at the time of his passing. The Bongo singer was forced to release part of the song he recorded with Tuku and Jah Prayzah following the sudden death of the legendary singer.<\/p>\n
