stated on Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was alongside another of their tweet;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a8The needs of our women and girls in Kenya are our number 1 priority,\u00a8 Always Kenya publicly informs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, \u00a8We introduced our new product Always Soft which has a softer and more comfortable feel on skin.\u00a8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"714\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/03\/towels.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-94959\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/03\/towels.jpg 720w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/03\/towels-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/03\/towels-300x298.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><figcaption>The news Always Soft<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I would not at all wish to interfere with ongoing investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately,  it seems to me that this company is still aware Kenyans are unimpressed with their product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All in all, KEBS reaffirms Kenyans that should there be sub standards, it would be open to withdrawing Always products from the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bureau stated, \u00a8the outcomes of analysis will determine the next cause of action.\u00a8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bone of contention<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kenyans have since February, early this year, complained about the quality of towels that Proctor and Gamble (P&amp;G) manufactures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The manufacturers, Proctor and Gamble (P&amp;G) were under duress to respond through a newly created Twitter page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a8The Always Ultra pads we have in Kenya are similar to the Always pads in other parts of the world.\u00a8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a8All or pads including the ones in Kenya are designed and developed in Europe and the US,\u00a8 the tweet reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was after Kenyans thronged social media stating these Kenyan products are not of similar quality to those in Western countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funny enough, sentiments from majority of Kenyans inform that they noticed plastic elements present in the towels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> According to consumers, some even leak after a short period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, others claim the company lies about producing cotton sanitary towels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quite contradictory to what the Always Kenya Company seems to be backing up as its story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The heated debate goes on&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) has launched investigations into Always sanitary towels claims.
