Zari puts Arrow Bwoy in his place after he thirsted after her
The upcoming celebrity boxing match between Kenyan musician Arrow Bwoy and Ugandan socialite Shakib Cham Lutaaya has taken an increasingly personal turn after businesswoman and reality TV star Zari Hassan publicly criticised the singer for repeatedly mentioning her in his promotional antics ahead of the fight.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon, May 27, 2026, Zari expressed frustration over Arrow Bwoy’s continued attempts to involve her in the growing rivalry surrounding the highly anticipated bout.
The self-proclaimed “Boss Lady” questioned why the musician believed she would tolerate being dragged into online publicity stunts.
“I get so offended nowadays when people approach me with nonsense because what vibes do I give that make you think I’d tolerate such nonsense,” Zari wrote.
She then directly addressed the musician, warning him against using her name for attention.
“Keep my name out of your cheap stunts, you small Kenyan boy,” she added.
Zari’s response came after Arrow Bwoy intensified his online campaign against her husband, Shakib, ahead of their scheduled clash at Vurugu 2.0 (Ultimate Arena) set for June 20, 2026, in Nairobi.

Earlier this week, Arrow Bwoy sparked reactions online after posting a video featuring a punching dummy, which he referred to as “Zari” while pretending to attack Shakib.
In the clip, the singer jokingly spoke to the dummy before aggressively slapping it and issuing warnings to his opponent ahead of the match.
“20th June in Nairobi, Kenya it will be a total shutdown because me and her we gonna have our first dance after I humiliate that Matoke boy from Uganda. Good night Zari. @shakib_cham you are done bro, it is not too late to surrender,” he captioned the video.
This was not the first time Arrow Bwoy referenced the Ugandan couple while promoting the fight.
Just days earlier, shortly after reports emerged that Nadia Mukami and Arrow Bwoy had parted ways, the musician used the situation to take another swipe at Shakib’s marriage while recording himself at the gym.
“Now that I am single, @shakib_cham you don’t deserve that beautiful lady Zari the Boss Lady. From June 20 the hashtag will be #Arrow$Zari,” he wrote online.
The comments quickly triggered a response from Shakib, who warned Arrow Bwoy against involving his wife in the feud.
“My wife is not part of this fight, so keep her name out of it. Don’t cross that line and make me more angry. Save the energy for the ring on June 20th,” Shakib responded.
With both Zari and Shakib now publicly pushing back against Arrow Bwoy’s remarks, tensions surrounding the June 20 showdown continue to rise as fans eagerly await the celebrity boxing match in Nairobi.
