Mombasa born British model, Malaika Firth is famously known for becoming the first Black model in 19 years to score a Prada campaign.
The only other Black model to book a Prada campaign was none other than the iconic Naomi Campbell who booked one in 1994, the year Malaika was born.
From then on, she has booked well-paying campaigns with Valentino, Prada and Burberry. She has also walked down runways of fêted designers like Marc Jacobs, Kenzo, Dolce & Gabbana and lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret.
