Kenyans Roar After President Kenyatta Was Recognized With A Prestigious Award (Photos)

The President has been awarded with a continental award which has generated lots of exciting reactions from Kenyans.

The head of state has received a prestigious continental prize; Africa Education and Leadership Award 2014/2015.

The award was handed over to the President at State House by students who are members of the All-Africa Students Union (AASU),

Uhuru was voted Africa’s President of the Year 2014/2015 for his outstanding leadership and ability to build consensus locally and abroad.

He takes the mantle from Rwandese President, Paul Kagame, who was the previous ‘custodian’ of the prize, 2013/2014.

Uhuru’s win is a hot topic on social media, It’s currently trending first on Twitter. Kenyans are lauding him for his accomplishment.
