Kiss F.M’s Petite Presenter Adelle Onyango Lands A New Job

You know, Adelle Onyango as the charming Kiss F.M presenter whose sultry yet bold voice has your ear glued to the Radio Africa Owned Station, but now you will know the slender lithe lass for another reason.

News just in is that the media personality and artiste has been appointed as one of the youth mentors in East African region for the YALI initiative 2015. YALI- Young African Leaders Initiative was created on 28th July 2014 by US president Barrack Obama in four Regional Leadership centres; Senegal, Ghana, Kenya & South Africa with an aim of mentoring and inspiring youth to take up leadership roles in mentoring each other!

This year beginning 20th July, the Regional Leadership Centre for East Africa located in Nairobi, Kenya will embark on improving the availability and quality of leadership training programs and professional development opportunities for young East African Leaders! Adelle Onyango who has been instrumental in mentoring the youth through her ‘Project SHE’ initiative will join other appointed young African leaders to this cause!

Speaking on her new role Adelle remarked “I am very happy to be one of the mentors appointed by YALI to represent East African region. I am excited to meet the team and look forward to conversations that will improve leadership and development programs in East Africa”  

Adelle is also currently one of the goodwill ambassadors of the ongoing Ficha Uchi school Campaign in slum & peri urban areas in Kenya.
