Machachari’s MaDVD Becomes First Male Personality on the Cover of Salon Magazine

Machachari actor, MaDVD has become the first male personality to grace the cover of Salon Magazine in a decade. MaDVD is played by Brian ole Ndwala. He appeared on the cover with his love interest on the show, Janique Mutuku who plays Sofia. The two appear on the cover of the July issue of the magazine.

Machachari is one of the most popular local shows in the country. During this year’s Chaguo La Teeniez Awards, the show received five nominations and won two. Ole Ndwala was nominated for Teeniez Actor/Actress but lost out to fellow castmate, Kamau Mbaya who plays Baha on the show. The show itself won Teeniez Show in the Drama/Soap category.
