Miss SA Tamaryn Green jets off to Amsterdam for conference

Tamaryn Green has set out for Amsterdam to attend the 49th World Union Conference on Lung Health.

The conference is “the world’s largest gathering of clinicians and public health workers, policymakers, researchers and advocates working to end the suffering caused by lung disease.”

Tamaryn gave a rough indication of what she will be doing.

“I will be speaking and MC’ing at an event aimed at recognising outstanding TB leaders.”

She has been vocal in raising awareness around TB since August, where she announced the launch of her #BreakTheStigma campaign.
