More Improvements on Whatsapp! Now You Will Be Able To Tell When And How Long A Message Has Been Read

Those who like giving excuses over not replying whatsapp texts will no longer enjoy this as Whatsapp developers have gone a step further to ensure that everything is delivered and proved to be delivered and read by the recipient.

This changes are an improvement to an early mode where message that have not been received by the receiver are shown by a single grey tick while those delivered are shown by two grey ticks.

As from today, a message that has been delivered and received by the receiver will show two BLUE ticks on the right hand side and a click on the message will show the time taken to read the message.

On group messages, two BLUE ticks will appear to show that all members in that group have received and read the message.

Initially, in group messages, only a single grey tick could appear, making it difficult for one to ascertain if the message has been delivered.

To see these changes, whatsapp users have to update the app on their phones.
