Wizkid Made a Surprise Appearance at Davido’s 30 Billion UK Tour Last Night
The 30 Billion UK Tour brought the music bigwigs together
Former Nigerian music rivals turned best friends, Wizkid and Davido yesterday, performed together in London at Davido’s 30 Billion UK Tour.
This performance marks the third time in two months that the singers will be performing together.
Their first performance was at Davido’s 30 Billion Concert in Eko Hotel where Wixkid made a surprise appearance.
The duo, yesterday thrilled fans at the 5000 capacity 02 Academy in Brixton, London.
Davido, during his performance, asked if fans were ready for his final surprise for the night. This was just before Wizkid’s Manya started playing in the background as Wizkid joined his friend on stage.
They both gave a beautiful rendition of Wixkid’s Manya.

30BillionUKTour: Davido Sells Out All 5000 Tickets for his Brixton Show
Davido’s 30BillionUKTour continues to make waves.
Nigeria’s music senstation, Davido continue to make big, his name as he continues with his 30BillionUKTour wich is an extension of his 30Billion World and African Tours which started last year.
The singer who was obviously the biggest name for the year 2017 (read here) has touched four venues already. The 02 Arena in Brixton brings the number of places touched by the singer’s UK Tour to five. The tour train have visited Leicester, Dublin, Manchester & Birmingham.
The singer revealed that he had sold out all 5000 tickets for his Brixton shown which was scheduled for the night.

Ningerian music sensation, David Adeleke, know as Davido seems to be really in love as he has been showing off his girlfriend in recent times.
The singer who introduced the beautiful lady, identified as Chioma has seized every opportunity to flaunt the beautiful girlfriend.
It is however worthy of note that Davido has had several ladies in his life (just as he sated yesterday) but has never shown off any of them like he is doing now, before. With this, it is safe to say that Davido might actually have found the love of his life. In his Valentine’s message to the women in his life, he described Chioma as the love of his life/his chef.
In this new picture posted by the singer, he describes her as his girlfriend.
New making rounds on social media, claims that Chioma Avril Rowland is a 300level student of Babcock University. It is said also that she is head over heals, in love with the singer too.
We would certainly love to see a special something come out of this one.

Davido is certainly blessed among women.
Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, yesterday, joined others to celebrate his loved ones. The singer took to celebrate the women in his life and he admits that he has several in his life.
He sent a happy Valentine’s message to his daughters, their mothers, his two sisters and of course, the love of his life, Chioma. He described Chi as his number one chef.

Davido Emerges winner at MAYA Awards
The 2018 edition of the MAYA awards held on Sunday, February 4th and Davido again emerged African Artiste of the year. The Moreklue All Youth Award gathered entertainers at Yard 158, Oregun, Lagos to celebrate outstanding performance in the industry.
In attendance were; Damola Olatunji, SwankyJerry, Emmy Nyra, Sam ‘Spiff’ Ajibola, Ogbolor, Mz Kiss, Aisha Lawal and Kenny Blaq. Others were; Bash, Woli Arole, Asiri, Josh2Funny, Nkechi Sunday Blessing, Woli Agba, W4, Yovi and over 1500 outstanding and fashionable youths.

Davido, Wizkid, Others, Make List of Most Followed Africans on Social Media (Full List)
They join other African Entertainers to to the list of the most Followed Africans on Social Media.
Nigerian Entertainers, Wizkid, Divado, Don Jazzy and Tiwa Savage have been placed among the most followed Africans on Social Media.
This is according to a list compiled by Lagos-based Sports Communication Company, CampsBay Media.
These celebrities find their place in the list among other African celebrities like Akon, Lupita Nyong’o, Diamond Platinumz and others.
Senegalese singer, Akon, makes the list at top place of the Top 10 African Entertainers. Davido, Peter Okoye and Wizkid are placed at 4th, 7th and 8th place respectively.

In an interview with MTVBASE, Davido talked about how music has influenced his relationship with top people. He said:
“When I released the song back then, I did not know that it was going to be that big. Then I went back to school and the love that I was shown was overwhelming, let alone the way girls began to treat me. That one song with the video made my father realise that I had the talent. And then, I did the song, ‘Dami Duro’. The song became so big and I remember that the President at the time called my father to talk about me and the song”. .

“Even during my father’s business meetings with his friends, they would mention my name and the song. Before long, I started travelling and doing shows around the world. Now I have the numbers of about 13 presidents on my phone and if I call them, they would answer the call. Then the award came and it set me on another level”.

Dele Momodu talks about his two year beef with singer Davido. Ghafla Nigeria reported their reconciliation when the singer performed at ovation Carol. Read what CEO of Ovation magazine said about the beef:
“Fighting with David was my biggest battle ever. It was bigger than fighting Abacha because of the blistering popularity of David; he is an extremely popular guy and it was very unfortunate, (the devil is a liar) because a baby was involved; very beautiful girl, Imade. When it happened, I tried my best to avoid a collision with the family because I am very close to the family especially because of Senator Ademola Adeleke. We used to sleep in the same house when I was in exile in London. Whenever Sen. Ademola was around, he would call me and then pick me up to his house and I’ll sleep there and when I need to go back to my own house he would drop me.” “So when the baby issue came, I didn’t know about it, if Sophie (Davido’s first Babymama) didn’t tell me she was pregnant, I wouldn’t have known, she was able to hide it perfectly from everyone” he said.

The love for our celebrities is obviously enough to put them in tight corners some times and it looks like Davido just got his share of it.
In a video captured by GoldMyne TV, the singer had a special moment with fans at a recent show. Yea right! We know female fans can be hysterical sometimes but this seems to have gone a certain length.
These fans were seen grabbing the singer’s balls as he was performing on stage. Well, hope there were no male hands among those hands though.

After news broke out that Singer Davido has been dragged to court over tax related issues, he calls out to his debtors. He shared a post on his snap advising his debtors to pay him before he exposes them.

Who Knew? See What Davido’s Dad did to him When he Decided to Go into Music
Like the typical Nigerian dad, Davido’s father was not happy he was going into music.
Davido, being the son of whom he is seems to have always had it going smooth with him. His decision to go into music, however didn’t go down well with his dad.
Financial Times reports that Davido’s dad’s nerve was only finally calmed after the hit, Dami Duro becam the biggest in Africa. Davido mad this known in an interview with Financial times where he revealed that his dad went as far as arresting people seen with him on any billboard.
Excerpts from the interview below.
My dad didn’t like me doing music!” laughs Davido. “If he saw my face on a billboard, he’d arrest everybody at that show! But when I made the song ‘Dami Duro’ [2011], it became the biggest track in Africa; it’s saying: ‘I’m the son of a rich man, you can’t stop me, and people love me.’ It now feels good for dad to see that music can take me this far.”
The singer described his music thus;
“In Nigeria, we all mix sounds together and collaborate; it’s natural,” He said. He described his music as “afrofusion”, with elements including hip-hop, Ghanaian high life, South African kwaito, and R&B. “It’s been generalised as afrobeats, but I have songs that sound like afropop, afrotrap . . . ”
Asked about how Afrobeats has inspired the works of international stars like Drake and Beyonce and why the western mainstream is just being awakened, OBO said;
It’s the internet and social media,”
I’m telling you, Nigerian people have a supportive force, and an amazing energy. Beyoncé and Kanye felt it on their visits, but Nigeria has always been very big on entertainment; when I was little, a big artist would come over to play every Christmas.
Now the music industry in Nigeria is like a government ministry; it’s worth billions. There are so many artists in Nigeria that you might not have heard of, but trust me, they’re doing well.”
Davido is an award winning singer who has won several awards including the MTV EMA’s award for Best Worldwide Act.

Pop star, Davido has had an eventful year 2017 and as the year draws nigh, we look back at the big names of the year. Among the top and buzzing acts of the year, one can comfortably single Davido out as the biggest. These are five reasons why we think so.
Biggest hits of the year:
Through the year, Davido has done amazingly well to bring the best hits to fans and music lovers across the world. He succeeded in making hits that lasted through the year and earned him resounding nods from lovers. IF, Fall, Pere, and most recently, Fia. All his songs came out as major hits. This is an almost undeniable fact.
Won Big!
The Fall crooner in more than one ways was a big winner for the ending year. His name emerged in all the major awards and for most of it, he was a winner. At the MTV EMAs, Davido clinched both Best Worldwide Act and Best African Act awards. Moving forward, the singer Proceeded to win the Best African Act at the Mobo Awards. He also proceeded to win the Future Awards Africa’s prize for Music
Through the thins, he emerged thick.
As the year proceeded, hard or maybe difficult times hit the singer and he managed to wriggle his way through. When the singer lost two of his friends in one week, many thought that he wouldn’t come out of it without a scandal but hell no! OBO proved himself strong, he came out stronger. Even after he was accused of murder for the death of one of those friends by a celebrity, he was vindicated. Even more amazingly, he came out of the mess with a hit track.

He went further to bring the estranged Mo’Hits Crew together for the first time since their breakup. Again, the singer asked that there should be unity in the industry as he spoke on the beef between the then Psquare duo.

Davido gave reasons why they did not perform at his concert.
Davido seems to be the messiah of Nigerian entertainment at the moment as he has made ample efforts at peacemaking. His reconciliation mission started with his estranged inlaw, Ovation Boss, Dele Momodu (Read here). This was followed closely by his surprise performance at Wizkid’s concert. Moving forward, the singer introduced Wizkid as his new best friend to his teeming fans, at his 30 Billion Concert. Another pleasant surprise from the singer was the performance of the Mo’Hits Crew, together for the first time since their breakup.
Answering questions therefore, as to why the Okoye brothers did not perform at the concert, the singer said one of them was unavoidably unavailable. They would have performed together but Paul had a show in Calabar. Peter,on the other hand was at the show.
Contrary to reports, OBO claims that there is no beef among the brothers.
He wrote;
Let us preach unity, Psquare were ready to perform but one of them Paul was not present but Peter Okoye was at the show.
“He already had a show which made it impossible for them to perform alongside Mo’hits crew.
“Both guys are lovely guys trust me there is no problem.

Tubaba’s performance was a high point of the concert.
Davido’s 30Billion concert is a high point of the ending year 2017 and TuBaba isn’t left out of the epic event. The music legend thrilled fans to a performance of some of his best songs. While he was at it, the brain behind the show fell prostrate for the legend. Well, for some, this might seem like a show of respect from the Fia crooner, but some others seem to have another interpretation for this act.
According to tales from the event, Tuface was presumed drunk we as he gave halfway renditions of some of his best songs. In fact, some say the singer, instead of doing what he was best at, (Singing) brought his best oratory skills to play as he suddenly became an orator.
In a video shared by Goldmyne TV, it can’t be told if precisely, the singer was really drunk but it was obvious that the host was in a hurry to send him off stage. It was after he gave halfway rendition of his songs that Davido prostrated to him. An act which some interpreted as a plea to the music legend not to destroy his career.

It is no news that music fans have no belly to bottle misdeeds of some musicians especially when they are a least favourite. A singer like Tuface however is immune to backlash as fans are always ready to forgive his ills.

While social media was agog,yesterday the 27th of December over Davido’s 30Billion Concert, OAP Toolz took to Twitter to air her opinion. In her post, she desvribed the show as a chaos. According to her, the show wasn’t well planned.
She however noted the fact that she is a huge fan of the singer but that didn’t cloud her assessment of the show.

Mo’Hits Crew Reunite After Six Years to Perform at Davido’s Concert

Who has missed the sound of that? Wande Coal, Kay Switch, Ikechukwu, D’Banj and Don Jazzy performed together as Mo’Hits crew at Davido’s #30BillionConcert.
Fans of the defunct group all have waited so long for this day. Long after the split of the group that dished Nigeria some of the best music ever, they reunite again to perform and this time, it is thanks to OBO himself.
The group which was created in 2004 and co-owned by Don Jazzy and D’Banj had hit the rock in 2011. This however will be their first outing together after their breakup and their performance could be nothing short of expectations.
According to the man behind the success; Davido, it took two months of efforts to bring them together. Fans will certainly be thankful for it.
Taking a close look at events, one would agree that it is the season of peacemaking for Davido as he has done well to mend bridges with a couple of celebrities.
