Lagos based Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim has revealed that the moment she hosted the Glo CAF Awards, doors started opening for her.
This was in a phone interview with Ghana’s Okay FM. According to her, God also contributed largely to her success.
Asked whether the Ghanaian movie industry is bigger that Nollywood, the actress stated emphatically that Nollywood is bigger. Noting however, that Nollywood is the third largest in the world, she says the Ghana movie industry needs government’s support.
I believe that from the moment I got the opportunity to do the CAF Awards that I hosted for Glo, it opened great doors for me”.
It is God. If you are doing something right, you get referrals. So if someone checks you out on social media and you are good at what you do, they contact you.
On Nollywood doing better than Gallywood, she said:
You cannot compare the two countries. Nigeria has a lot of population, so the demand for movies is there. It’s always going to be there. Nollywood is the third largest movie industry in the world”.
We really need the support of Ghana to make the Gallywood industry to come back to what it was or even better. Nigeria has the support of government and the corporate world.
After her post about side niggas and the actual boyfriend was criticized by people, Juliet Ibrahim made another post. In the post, she tried to reason why having a side nigga is wrong.

Often times, the actress goes on social media to advice people on how to handle their relationship.
The most recent piece of advice by her has however, got people talking. For some, it is surprising, what her take is on handling boyfriends and side niggas.
According to the actress, ladies should not lose what she calls good side nigga, over their boyfriends. If the boyfriend was good, they wouldn’t need a side nigga, she said.

Taking to her Instagram page to celebrate her achievement, the actress thanked her fans and followers.
While Nigeria achievers awards honored her as the “Celebrity Humanitarian of the Year”, she also got another award. The second, was from Ghana Naija Showbiz Awards. She was honoured as “ Fans Favorite Celebrity of the Year.

Though the actress only just confirmed it, it looks like the two are beginning to dish their own post relationship drama.
Though the singer refused to mention names, it can be deduced that his message isn’t unrelated to Juliet’s recent breakup confirmation.
According to him, when toxic people cannot control you anymore, they try to change people’s perspective about you. He however, advised that such victims stay above it.
Recall that the Ghanaian actress recently told Joy news that she and the singer are no longer together. Though she stated that they parted based on mutual consent, she refused to give reasons for the breakup.
The thing is we don’t want to go for anybody, I carried myself. When you are in love, you do crazy things and things happen and you move on”.
I don’t know because they say and I hear all sorts of things but people close to me know what happened. I wouldn’t say because no matter what I respect the people that I have been with. We broke up on a mutual term.

According to her, she has been called “K-Legged,” ridiculed and mocked for pushing the limits. She has embraced her flaws, she said, and that is how she has come this far.

Joining the Misfitohero hashtag on Insagram by Tosin Ajibade of Olorisupergal brand, the actress said she started as a refugee from nothing, to where she is today.
According to her, she promised herself to get her first house before she clocks 30. By 2015, he however, got the house as her 29th birthday gift to herself.
It started as a dream, tirelessly working from one set to another; filming over 6 movies in a month just to make a living.
She recalled how her immune system will break down and her loved ones would ask “can’t you just take time off and rest?” Just like every girl, She had a dream, She wanted to accomplish her resolution set out before she turned 30!
In April 2015, Juliet bought her first house as her 29th birthday gift. ‘I’m extremely grateful to God Almighty who has been able to allow this nobody be a somebody! ‘Says Juliet. Many don’t know what being a refugee is like; literally she had nothing and had to start from scratch to get to where she is today.
