Wizkid Made a Surprise Appearance at Davido’s 30 Billion UK Tour Last Night

The 30 Billion UK Tour brought the music bigwigs together

Former Nigerian music rivals turned best friends, Wizkid and Davido yesterday, performed together in London at Davido’s 30 Billion UK Tour.

This performance marks the third time in two months that the singers will be performing together.

Their first performance was at Davido’s 30 Billion Concert in Eko Hotel where Wixkid made a surprise appearance.

The duo, yesterday thrilled fans at the 5000 capacity 02 Academy in Brixton, London.

Davido, during his performance, asked if fans were ready for his final surprise for the night. This was just before Wizkid’s Manya started playing in the background as Wizkid joined his friend on stage.

They both gave a beautiful rendition of Wixkid’s Manya.

They join other African Entertainers to to the list of the most Followed Africans on Social Media.

Nigerian Entertainers, Wizkid, Divado, Don Jazzy and Tiwa Savage have been placed among the most followed Africans on Social Media.

This is according to a list compiled by Lagos-based Sports Communication Company, CampsBay Media.

These celebrities find their place in the list among other African celebrities like Akon, Lupita Nyong’o, Diamond Platinumz and others.

Senegalese singer, Akon, makes the list at top place of the Top 10 African Entertainers. Davido, Peter Okoye and Wizkid are placed at 4th, 7th and 8th place respectively.

A young man who looks exactly like singer, Ayo Balogun, A.K.A. Wizkid has been identified as Owotomo Timilehin. The young man’s claims of being the singer’s lookalike has been confirmed as close look at their pictures proves him right, The young man who is said to sing like Wizkid, also dresses like him.

Pictures of both Wizkid and Timilehin strikes a close semblance as it is almot too difficult to identify between the singer and his doppelganger.

So this one is shocking, amazing, hilarious; it is everything in one but most of all, it is incredible!!!

According to a lady identified as Annie, while Wizkid was performing at his most recent concert, he passed by a group of fans and made contact with them. Annie narrated that to her uttermost surprise, a the lady began to do the unspeakable. Right there and then, the lady in question dipped her hands down her pants and began to feel her genitals.

The amazed spectator, Annie stated that she was so shook that even sleep couldn’t take the sleep couldn’t take the shock away.

Wizkid’s concert has been a holiday climax for entertainment lovers across Nigeria. The show held at the Eko Convention Center saw different artists at their best as they thrilled their audience to mind blowing performances.

High point of the event was what could be termed Wizkid and Davido’s reconciliation performance. The duo sang beautifully to Davido’s Fia. This was a major talk of the town.

Wizkid, wore a Crystal Ribbed Viscose Shirt to stage and he shined through out his performance.

The Shirt costs $3,700 only which is estimated at ₦1,332,000 in Naira.

Wizkid beats big names to clinch the award.

Last night, Nigerian superstar singer, Wizkid beat Drake Cardi B JayZ and others to clinch the MOBO Award for Best International Act. In the same light, Davido also won the award for the Best African Act. Both singers made history for the night; Wizkid, being the first African to win the Best International Act and Davido, the first African to perform at the award ceremony.

Nigerian music over time has served in various capacities, not just as a form of entertainment but more as a tool for sensitization in various facets of life.

Standing strong as the forerunner of African music, Nigerian music has produced musical legends like Fela Anikulapo Kuti whose music has remained evergreen, inspiring great musicians to remain at the top of their craft while he keeps sensitizing the public of the ills of the Nigerian politics (Beast of no Nation is one of such songs) as he keeps entertaining life lovers being the pioneer of the Afro-Fuji Music.

Today, the music legend, Fela has become a brand of music in Africa with the prestigious Felabration, a music festival held yearly in his memory, bringing together, brilliant musical acts to the Fela shrine in his honour.

In the footstep of Fela, we’ve had singers like African China, Eedris Abdulkareem and Tuface Idibia, use their craft to sensitize the nation about the ills of the society.

As art remains the mirror of the society, there is the need for artists to use their music as a true reflection of the society and these musicians have so far achieved this goal.

When one talks of entertainment, Nigeria is by all standards a hub of entertainment in Africa with several musical acts springing up daily, dishing the country, beautiful renditions by fertile talents that keeps satisfying the craving for good music.

2017 MTV EMA Nomination List Unveiled, Davido and Wizkid Nominated as Best African Act

The nomination list for the 2017 edition of the MTV European Music Awards which is scheduled to hold on the 12th of December has just been released and Wizkid and Davido are nominated as best African acts.

Other African musicians in that category are: South Africa’s Babes Wodumo & Nasty C, Angola’s C4 Pedro and Kenya’s Nyashinksi.

The show which is to be hosted by Rita Ora has Taylor Swift bagging the highest number of nominations. This year, the Best Male and female Artist category has been collapsed into one with Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, Miley Cyrus, Shawn Mendes and Taylor Swiftas the nominees.

Wizkid as hot topic on American TV show

On a Tv show named Everyday Struggle, US rapper Joe Budden blasts american artists for stealing wizkid music style and not buying his album.

Everyday Struggle is a morning show where popular rapper Joe Budden and internet sensation DJ Akademiks discusses issues and topics on hip hop and pop culture. It is also anchored with MTV News journalist Nadeska Alexis. The show which airs Monday – Thursday also invites guests to join conversations.

While analyzing the latest social media buzz and talking about how 50 cents has created a division in New York music, Joe Budden mentioned Wizkid’s album as amazing. Though he called Wizkid’s style Caribbean, Nadeska Alexis a co-host corrected that Wizkid’s style is Afro-beat not Caribbean and that he is Nigerian. Wizkid’s feature song with Drake was also mentioned and considered good. Joe Budden said: “Wizkid’s album came out and we’ve never talked about it and it’s amazing. I don’t think it’s fair that you niggas can steal Wizkid’s Caribbean fucking style and flow and song writing and then not buy the fucking album”. It was agreed that Wizkid is moving song culture forward. This was mentioned in 42:51 minutes of the show.

Is Davido on a Vengeance Mission Against Wizkid?

In recent pictures, Davidois seen showing love to Wizkid’s ex-girlfriend Justine Skye and it looks like a revenge for Wizkid using his ex Sira Kante in his ‘Come Closer’ video.

It is certainly no news that Davido and Wizkid are arch-rivals in the Nigerian music scene with the duo having several bouts of disagreements in the past and fans of the two ‘music lords’ constantly in the bid to determine who is better between the two singers.

The latest beef between the singers seems to be a battle of exes as they are now making frantic efforts to get back at each other with their exes.

Apparently, Davido has been looking for a way to get back at Wizkid for using his ex, Sira Kante in his come closer video. The opportunity however came for the ‘Fall‘ crooner as he got the chance to get even with Wizkid as he believes that the singer used his ex in ‘Come Closer’ in a deliberate attempt to get to him.

Justine Skye posted a video of herself singing maybe to take a swipe at her ex, and Davido who took it as an opportunity to get back at him also, reposted the video, tagged Justine alongside four love emojis.

Wizkid, first Afro-pop musician to debut Guinness Book of World Records.

Good things are coming to Nigeria’s popular Afro-Pop musician, Wizkid. It’s good to know that after just recuperating, Wizkid debuts Guinness Book of World Records. This news was shared by a twitter user, @9ja_canadian, who shared photos showing the singer’s name featured in the book.

Healing Wizkid thanks fans for Prayers.

It’s jubilation time for all Wizkid’s fans as the Nigerian biggest pop sensation announces that he is recuperating well.

Wizkid shared a tweet yesterday, thanking his fans and lovers for their earnest prayers. After his announcement on his poor health status and annulment of mega shows about a week ago, there has been lots of emotional displays including a viral video of a crying lady.
