The Executive Director of the Nigerian Film and Video Censors Board, Mr. Adebayo Thomas, has stated that the next edition of the BBNaija show, must hold in Nigeria. This, according to him, is because the country has all it takes to host the show, hen should be hosted ce, since it it BBNaija and not BBAfrica, it should be hosted in the country.<\/p>\n
Mr. Adebayo said this, while granting audience to the News Agency of Nigeria. Since some multinational Telecommunications companies have successfully have been able to run hitch free operations in the country, he sees no reason why the show can’t run successfully in Nigeria, he said.<\/p>\n
On the complaints of some people about the nature of the show, Mr. Thomas advised that parents guide what their children watch as the government cannot be held responsible for the moral upbringing of children.<\/p>\n
If it is Big Brother Africa, they can host that anywhere; but the one for Nigeria should be hosted in Nigeria.<\/em><\/p>\n
Nigeria has what it takes to host the show; after all, there are many multinational\/telecommunication companies hitherto operating hitch-free in the country.<\/em><\/p>\n
If the organisers are talking about lack of available infrastructure as an excuse, then how is MTN operating successfully 24\/7 in this same country?<\/em><\/p>\n
If MTN, a similar South African company, has been surviving in this country, then I don\u2019t think anybody has an excuse for not hosting BBNaija in Nigeria.<\/em><\/p>\n
They are making a lot of money from Nigerians here, so, we want them to host it here.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A couple of the scenes are adult content and that is where parental guidance comes in.<\/em><\/p>\n
Parents can always block the watching of some scenes within a particular period or in totality.<\/em><\/p>\n
