Mavin star, Korede Bello, has taken to Instagram to shut down rumours which says that he bought distinction from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ).<\/p>\n
The singer who bagged a HND from the Institute with distinction says that he needed to be an inspiration to many youths. He wanted to be a prove that it is possible to be famous and also achieve academic excellence, he said. He also added that he didn’t but his grades but achieved it through hard work.<\/p>\n
I\u2019d be doing millions of young people and my peers a disservice by not boldly putting it out there that impossiblity is a myth; you can be Talented and Distinguished; Famous and Dignified; Celebrated and Educated, you can be a MEGA SUPER STAR with a MEGA SUPER VISION. For this I am grateful to God.<\/em><\/p>\n
The main reason I endured to the finish line was because I needed to push myself and also to be a light for a lot of young Nigerians who think you cannot be an established Artiste and still achieve academic excellence. I endured because #MyPeople needed a role model.<\/em><\/p>\n
A few days before I got signed, I was still looking for tuition fees, so I understand the experience that some of you go through. But just as HE came through for me , HE\u2019ll come through for you.<\/em><\/p>\n
No, it wasn\u2019t easy but it was worth it. I was graced and I\u2019m grateful.<\/em><\/p>\n
And no,I didn\u2019t buy my result but I paid for it through hard work, commitment and sacrifice (time and music). You can too. I believe in you, I believe in us. #DistinguishedNigerianYouths. <\/em>He said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
